We all know that jewelry is the key to any woman (or sometimes man’s) heart. Diamond jewelry can oftentimes seem too pricey to splurge on. For this year’s Holiday gift guide, I have decided to take a practical approach. It’s OK to spend a little extra $$$ on a gift if you know it is a) high quality and b) timeless. This year, I am all about buying diamond investment jewelry that she will wear forever.
Studs: A pair of beautiful diamond studs is almost a no brainer! No matter what size the studs, she will be sure to have these in her ears at all times. Diamond studs are a staple jewelry piece that will never go out of style. They can also be dressed up for special occasions, or dressed down for everyday. Speaking from experience, I received my diamond studs for my 18th birthday and have more or less been wearing them non-stop for the past 7 years. How is that for getting your money’s worth!
Pendant: A simple diamond pendant gives a little sparkle to your everyday wardrobe. Just like studs, this is a piece you will never have to take off and goes with any outfit! My personal favorite style of the moment is a small bezel set diamond on a short thin chain. Bezel pendants are also a great way to experiment with colored metals like yellow or rose gold.
Diamond bands: Diamond stacking bands are all the rage. Whether you get a traditional eternity band or thin pave diamond bands in different color metals, you can’t go wrong. I also love the idea of buying one band to commemorate special occasions so she will be able to create a cool diamond band stack that also has sentimental value.
Tennis bracelet: If you want to splurge a little extra, a diamond tennis bracelet is a great option. At any age, a diamond tennis bracelet is a lovely classic accessory that can be worn every day. It has a timeless elegance that never goes out of style.
No matter what piece of jewelry you decide on, you won't go wrong. Starting a jewelry wardrobe is a great gift and one she'll always love and cherish. As for your investment, you are investing in not only your portfolio but your relationship as well. That is hard to beat!
